Thankfulness

There are so many things I am thankful for.. I will try to make a list and see how far I get!
1) A healthy baby girl.
2) A hard working fiancee.
3) A family who loves me for who I am.
4) Friends who I can count on.
5) A roof over our head.
6) Never "Needing" anything!
7) Always having food in our pantry.
8) Having a reliable car to drive.
9) Growing up with a sister!
10) My education.
11) A God who understands me.
12) A friend who always listens.

There is much much more that I am thankful for. Especially a year ago.. exactly this time in the morning. I was up preparing my first Thanksgiving dinner.. and could hardly stand to look at a raw turkey. My morning sickness was so bad, just 11 days before that I had got my BIG FAT POSITIVE! :) I hoped and prayed that I would have a healthy baby, and everything would be perfect. I got just that, she is everything I ever wanted! I am extremely thankful for my daughter, Allee Isabella Arceo.

Holidaze

That is exactly how mothers feel during the end of the year! If you're anything like me, you ALWAYS want the best for your child. Even if your child is under a year old. This year I've already spent way too much, even before the beginning of November. Uh-oh. Most of the gifts for Allee have already been given to her.. so we probably won't count those as gifts. On the bright side, we have all our Christmas shopping done for all the kiddos on both mine and Albert's sides! We decided to go with pajamas! Who doesn't love jammies??!?
I am not sure if we will exchange gifts this year.. I think we are looking into just buying one gift for the both of us, the Kinect! I personally would love it! Plus with the baby I think Christmas is more important for children.. I love the thought of their faces! :) Thankful. Excited! All of the above!
We are planning on doing Thanksgiving and Christmas at Albert's older sisters house. She is a few months pregnant and has 3 other children. We absolutely adore them! It will definitely be a full house with all the kiddos running around. I love the idea of it! Of course, we will also visit my family,at my mothers house, to get a ton of pictures of both families in the mix! I already have Allee's outfits for both occasions!
Allee is getting so big and already fits in a lot of her 3-6 month clothing. If I could guess she would probably be nearing 13 pounds and 24 inches! She has almost outgrown her bassinet but I am not even close to having her sleep in her crib! She did nap in it today though, all by herself! :) It makes me a little sad to see her getting bigger and putting away all of her adorable clothing, but just gives me reason to buy more! My little girl is the next fashionista!
We will be doing Christmas photos here in the next couple of weeks and look forward to putting in an order at Shutterfly for our Christmas cards! So exciting! I will definitely post pictures soon!!!

Just a kind of "waiting" type of day..

Blah! Nothing too great, but nothing to shabby I must admit! Today was full of nothings really. Allee slept a great 8 hours for mommy last night (broke up in a 6 and then a 2, of course) it was simply bliss~! She is such a great baby! I don't know what I would do if she was colicy! =0!
Allee spent the day with her Granny while Albert went to the dentist for a root canel(Which he ended up not needing!! Woohoo) and Mommy ran on a quick shopping spree for little miss Brooke, who turned 5 yesterday! Of course I went to Gymboree, I am absolutely OBSESSED! I love buying new things for Allee, but I really just shouldn't keep spending money when she won't even wear the outfit but once! And frankly.. she has BEYOND enough clothes!!! I also stopped by Target to check out a few books.. notice to your left I've recently read a few WONDERFUL books. Those by Emily Giffin are addicting..honestly, It was hard for me to even put them down!
I can't wait to receive my shipment from Amazon with 4 new books! I will let you know how that goes! Infact, Emily Giffin's book Something Borrowed, is actually becoming a movie early next year! I am completely unraveled about it and honestly cannot WAIT!
Albert hasn't got a call back from that job, yet! So all we can do is hope and pray and, of course, wait some more for some news! :) Lets stay positive! More to come very very soon...

and... we are still under construction, unfortunately. I am a little ashamed of my lack of html knowledge! :)

She is MINE.

Doesn't it just baffle you how you can create something so perfect. Well in many cases you may believe this to be true: at work when you complete a task, in college when your working SO hard on an assignment and finally complete it, or even life in general. Isn't it just crazy when you think back to when you were 5 years old and had absolutely no worries in the world! Well I believe when you have a child it really hits you! You and your partner have created the most precious piece of art known to man kind! How can one act of passion, intimacy, love(or in some cases irresponsibility) create a PERSON, a child.. the most beautiful gift God could ever grant someone! My daughter is by far the most amazing, beautiful, little "person" I have ever met in my born days! Even these crazy nights and extremely LONG days do not phase how much I admire and absolutely LOVE my child. My daughter! Allee is now 2 MONTHS! (well 2 months and five days to be exact)! She is getting SO big.. Albert and I weighed her today and she weighs a whopping 10 lbs and 6 oz. She is our little chunky! I love spending all morning and night with my half opened tired eyes starring at her little face, and seeing that little smile.. hearing her little cooes and FINALLY a giggle! She is all mine.. and that will never change!

On a lighter note.. I am finally getting in the groove of parenting. My house isn't awfully dirty, but could be a little cleaner.. minus the dust and all ;)! Laundry doesn't seemed to ever get put away, but HEY I wash and fold it! I am so not interested in DIY projects around the house right now.. sleep seems to have me when I get the opportunity. Someday we will get back to decoration and organization.. I miss how organized I was!

My love might be getting a new job soon, please keep us in your prayers! This job is in the same town we live in - instead of him driving 35 minutes to his current job! Plus instead of night shifts he will be a day shift worker! He had an interview and the supervisor is supposed to get back to him next week... lets hope and pray it all works out! We are very positive about it and really excited for something new! Plus, he will get more time to spend with his daughter.. who loves him OH SO MUCH! (Almost more than she loves me, I think!)

Well it looks like I need to prepare bottles and diaper changes for tonight! Off I go.. Oh yeah! And if you notice little changes here and there... it is because I am slowly but surely designing my blog! So I guess we will call it...

Under Construction!

You Uncommited Nondedicated blogger!

Whoops.

Hello BlogWorld! I have forgotten about you.. Not completely but for a little while. Okay, It's been ALMOST a year! BUT, but but but.. I have a good reason! No, a GREAT reason.
Meet Allee Isabella!

Photobucket
Yep, that's right! We have a mini!!! She is absolutely everything I ever wanted and is completely adorable, RIGHT??? :) Now for the Stats! She was born July 20th 2010 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz and 19.5 inches long. She was a little peanut! Now at 8 weeks she is weighing 10 lbs! It's been a rough journey but completely worth it! I found out on November 14th 2009 that we were having our little bundle of joy and by week 15 complications arose. I was diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypertension early on, and on bedrest for a great chunk of my pregnancy. We were told that our baby, which we later found out was a GIRL!!!, had a great chance of not making it! :( It broke my heart! Thank the Lord, he blessed us with a healthy beautiful baby girl @ 39 weeks!!! I did develop Toxemia later in pregnancy but thankfully my OB had everything under control. I struggled with my recovering from a Cesarean section, twice infected! And don't even get me started on breastfeeding! But we've made it and at 6.5 weeks I decided to completely switch to formula which has worked wonders on little baby A! Okay Okay, fast forward now... Little Allee is going through this HORRIBLE growth spurt! She cries and cries and cries.. which leaves mommy frustrated and not having much time to do ANYTHING at all.. But I will stick to my promise this time. I am here for the long haul! I have been reading up on others blogs.. which made me MORE interested to continue my own.. even if I don't have followers! ;) I am crazy obsessed with this BLOGMANIA!!!! I have never heard of it, until today. Dum, Dum, Dum! And it's AMAZING!!!! Albert and I are still great and had our 2 year anniversary Sept. 4th. We did absolutely nothing but hung out with our little lover! :) Well I suppose new mommy should be getting rest while I have little bit down! Wooo! I WILL BE BACK!
